ABOUT SOPHIA...

Sophia Dogbatse is a qualified Social Worker dedicated to safeguarding, advocacy, and improving outcomes for children, families, and vulnerable individuals. Throughout her career, she has supported people from diverse backgrounds in navigating complex challenges, with a consistent focus on their wellbeing, dignity, and independence.

As a Trustee of React Humanitarian Network, Sophia brings professional insight and a deep, personal passion for supporting children with disabilities in Ghana. She believes every child deserves access to quality education, care, and the chance to reach their full potential, whatever barriers they face, and she is committed to building inclusive environments where children are valued and empowered.

Sophia has been part of React Humanitarian Network’s journey from day one, growing alongside the charity through its various phases of development. She has witnessed first-hand how far the organisation has come — from its early beginnings to the tangible impact it now has on the lives of children with disabilities and their families. This long-standing involvement has only deepened her commitment, and she takes great pride in what has been achieved so far while remaining driven to do more.

Sophia draws on her social work background to strengthen the charity’s governance, championing safeguarding, inclusion, and beneficiary welfare. She is committed to ensuring the charity’s work is carried out with compassion, integrity, and accountability — always keeping children and their families at the centre of decision-making.

Beyond her professional and trustee roles, Sophia is an advocate for community development, family support, and social justice. Her passion for supporting children with disabilities runs deep, and she remains proud to serve as a Trustee of React Humanitarian Network, helping the organisation create lasting opportunities and brighter futures for disabled children.
