TRUSTEE NOMINATES AUTISTICS SCHOOL FOR REACT/USBORNE BOOKS SUPPORT
One of REACT’s Trustee Mr. Edem Dogbatse has nominated Haven International school as beneficiary of REACT’s Schools Books Support project. The school provides training for individuals with Autism and other
intellectual and developmental disabilities. Broadly, Havens also undertakes parents and caregivers training and development, outreach and public awareness all things Autistics, healthcare professional development programs, speech and behavioral management and Biomedical interventions.
Asked why he chose Havens as beneficiary Edem answered “ I chose Havens for their dedication to education, literacy and tackling autism, ensuring the project creates lasting impact for those who need it most”.
The director of Havens school Mrs Jennifer Brock on behalf of the Advisory board thanked REACT for the donation and said the books will be extremely useful to the leaners particularly, the sunshine class who had challenges in reading but have now progressed and began reading some of the books donated.
