Tech Camp Limited, a UK Technology company that offers advanced Engineering & coding

classes to young people has donated a laptop to REACT on Wednesday 5th of February 2020.

The company which is the leading one of its kind in the industry provides hands-on courses

in 3D Game Design, 3D Printing, Drone & Car Racing, Robotics and Laser Tag made the

generous donation in responds to REACT’s appeal for a laptop for Joseph Akwetey, one of

our disabled university students pursuing Computer Science Engineering at the Kwame

Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana.

Presenting the donation, the MD for Tech Camp Tom Ward said “It’s great to be able to help

REACT and Joseph in particular. I’m originally a Computer Engineer myself and was fortunate

enough to have access to the equipment needed for my studies, but this isn’t easy in many parts

of the world due to the costs involved. It’s a pleasure to help Joseph and I wish him all the best

or his studies”. Tom commended REACT’s work and said his company will continue to explore

potential ways for collaboration to advance REACT’s goals.

The director of REACT Prince Osei Akowuah expressed REACT’s gratitude for the gesture.

Prince said it is exciting to have Tech Camp on board and look forward to the exciting partnership

opportunities for the foreseeable future.
