REACT VISITS RICHARD POST SURGERY

After crowdfunding to support Richard during his hospital surgery, REACT paid Richard a surprise visit during our recent 2018 project undertaken in Ghana. The director of REACT Prince Osei Akowuah who kept in constant touch with the family took time off his busy schedule on the ground to check on Richard and also to ascertain the impact of our intervention on his recovery and preparation towards life back at school. Richard thanked REACT but requested for a black school bag which he said was the only thing left to buy when he finally returns to school in a couple weeks after the visit. The Greater Accra Regional Coordinator for REACT, John Tsivanyo presented Richard with the bag and a sum donation of 50 Ghana Cedis for his school upkeep.
