REACT ADDS TEN NEW CHILDREN TO OUR LIST AT HOMASE No.2 IN ASHANTI REGION

As our projects continue to impact lives in many parts of Ghana, the number of children in our folds also continues to increase.

During our 2018 project undertaking in Ghana, REACT met with 10 new children for assessment and support. The children became known to us through the Assemblyman of Homase No.2, Honourable Isaac Osei-Duah who found our good work through our social media sites and requested we extend our support into his constituency. The Director of REACT Prince Osei Akowuah who met the children with their parents in an address said, REACT’s support cuts across regional and national boundaries hence, we are  excited to have added to our tally from the Ashanti region. Prince said often times families expect immediate support after such assessments from organisations like ours due to some unrealistic precedents by other NGOs and advised the families to be patient while REACT mobilises resources to support these children. Honourable Osei-Duah reiterated the director’s request and assured the families that he will liaised with REACT to ensure that the requisite support eventually arrives irrespective of how long it takes.
